Thank you for your letter of 13 November, and the enclosed notes on Macao.

We would like to keep abreast of developments in Macao, and so material of this nature is always welcome. We would like to see copies of any political reporting, and in particular of anything on the Macao JLG and Basic Law.
3. Incidentally, the protocol list which you enclosed is a dramatic illustration of just how little progress the Portuguese have made with localisation in Macao.
