ANNEX A TO XCC(89) 135
Amend the Judicial Service Commission Ordinance.
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
Short title and commencement
(1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Judicial Service
Commission (Amendment) Ordinance 1989.

(2) This Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be
appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette.

Section 3 of the Judicial Service Commission Ordinance
(Cap. 92) is amended
(a) by adding "and" at the end of subsection (1)(b);
(b) by repealing subsection (1)(c) and (d) and substituting
"(c)
not more than 7 members appointed by the Governor
