New clause 15A seeks to amend section 72 of the Legal Practitioners
Ordinance to enable the Chief Justice to make rules in respect of proceedings for admission of barristers and solicitors under the schedule in the Bill.

New clause 15A
That the Bill be amended, by adding after clause 15
"Power of Chief Justice to make rules
15A. Section 72 is amended in paragraph (a)(i) and (ii) by repealing "3 and 27" and substituting "3, 27 and 27A" in both places where it occurs.".
