FOREIGN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE: INQUIRY INTO HONG KONG
1. The Foreign Affairs Committee Report entitled "Hong Kong" is likely to be published on Friday 30 June at
12 noon.

As you will realise, the timing for this publication is very tight indeed and it is for this reason that the
Committee will be unable to make available the usual
Confidential Final Revises (CFRS) 24 or 48 hours prior to publication. However, Robert Wilson, the Committee Clerk, has agreed exceptionally to make available an advance copy of the final Report to Hong Kong Department 24 hours before publication, provided it is treated "with the utmost
discretion". PRU will obtain sufficient copies from Hong Kong Department in order to provide a copy to all to whom this minute is addressed.
