we are
We might come up with some unique solutions,
asking you to think about some unique solutions possibly
because you see in your Hong Kong 135 document, right at
the end of the last answer to the last question, you say
you have come to various categories. Then paragraph 4 of
the HK 135 you say it has not been possible to identify a
middle way short of accepting the demand in full.
In other words you are slamming the door on even
partial solutions and partial examples or categories.
KR RENTON:
Are you quoting the document submitted by the Home
Office?
MR ROVLAIDS;
Yes I am, it is Hong Kong 135, paragraph 4 Sir.
AR KENTON:
We were actually quoting the Foreign and
Commonwealth Secretary in that because he also said: "it
has not been possible to find a middle way short of
accepting this demand in full”.
That is, I read what the
Foreign Secretary said, I know that he said he cannot see
a resting place more suitable than the present
arrangements.
