You would not encourage Hong Kong to find some
nation to invade ther?
MR IAN TAYLOR:
Mr Bowen Wells has made one of the points that I was
going to make, but the other is that the figure of 400
obviously is something which is a good deal more capable
of being dealt with than 3.25 million.
But was it a
simple fact of numbers that there were only 400 and
therefore we could do it in the Falklands?

very much agree with your first remark.
cannot ignore the number 3.25 million and all of us
politicians would I think believe, and I read this comment
very much with interest in minutes of the evidence of the
