HONG KONG ENQUIRY-MEMORANDUM
To consider a memorandum on the DTI's work in relation to Hong Kong, which has been requested by the Clerk of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Mr Robert Wilson.
Timing:
Urgent
The Clerk of the Committee has requested the memorandum by close of play today, for onward transmission to the members of the Committee early tommorow (4 May).
Recommendation
We recommend that the Minister should approve this memorandum, which has been prepared by OT2/2 with agreement and amendments where necessary suggested by OT1/1 (Projects and Exports Policy Division), OT3 (Fairs and Promotions Branch), EM (Engineering Markets Division) and FCO (Hong Kong Department).
