Kong who are looking at other aspects as well because this is a buge consultative exercise in which many different opinions are
being expressed all the time inside Hong Kong.

But if those 14 points were met, you would be able to tell
us or say to us that that satisfies the spirit and the terms of
the Joint Declaret)an,

Well I think, I am reminded fur taqmple, that the 14 poíutā
do not deal with the Annexes dealing with elections and
representative government, so that there are others. But they are
the main ones I think on the substance of the law.
QUESTION:
Finally, if I may just ask, what would be the status of the
English version of the Basic Law?
