FAC: ORAL BRIEFING WEDNESDAY 8 MARCH
I attach LPRS of those Members of the Foreign Affairs Committee who have indicated their wish to attend the Oral Briefing tomorrow. It is also possible that Mr Rowlands and

Mr Taylor will be present.
2. Lord Glenarthur, FCO officials and Members of the FAC will assemble in the India Office Council Chamber at 10.30 am when coffee will be served.

I understand that the Secretary of State will arrive at 10.45 am and will open the briefing with an introductory talk. Thereafter it is envisaged that the briefing will continue in the form of a question and answer session. Unfortunately, the buffet lunch which was offered has now had to be cancelled since, by close of play yesterday, it seemed very probable that no Members of the FAC would infact be able to attend it.
