1.
This Ordinance may be cited as the Jury (Amendment) Ordinance
1988.
Interpretation (Cap. 3)
Exemptions from service
2.
Section 2 of the Jury Ordinance is amended by repealing the definition of "Commissioner" and substituting-
(Cap. 177)
"Commissioner" has the same meaning as in the Registration
of Persons Ordinance;"
3. Section 5 is amended-
(a) by repealing paragraph (aa) and substituting-
“(aa) members of the Urban Council and members of the
Regional Council;";
(b) in paragraph (b)—
(Cap. 298)
(i) in sub-paragraph (x), by repealing "or" in the second place where it occurs;
(ii) by adding after sub-paragraph (xi)—
"(xii) appointed as the principal probation officer, or as a probation officer, under the Probation of Offenders Ordin-
ance; or
