Article 16

1.

THE ACCEPTANCE AND EXECUTION OF CIVIL JUDGEMENT

Scope

Contracting parties should act according to conditions laid

down in this Agreement to accept or execute within its territories the

following judgements delivered in the territories of the other party

after this Agreement has come into force :

(1)

the court's judgment in civil cases;

(2)

the court's judgment in criminal cases concerning claims

of compensation;

(3)

the competent authority's ruling in inheritance cases;

(4)

the arbitration made by a court of arbitrators.

2.

"Judgment or rulings" refer

in this Agreement also include

statement of arbitration.

Article 17 Documents to be supplied for Requests

When a request for acceptance and execution of judgment is made,

the following documents should be attached :

Copies of the judgment true to the original. If it is not

stated clearly in the copies that the judgment is already

effective and may be executed, documents issued by the

court certifying that the judgment is effective and may be

executed should be attached;

Acknowledgment of service or other documents proving service

of the judgment;

Documents proving that the side which has lost the case has

been legally summoned by the court and document showing that

an appropriate agent has been found where the litigant

suffers any incapacity.
