Relations between Hong Kong and Guangdong, particularly commercial dealings, are very substantial and increasing. There is a real need for legal arrangements service this relationship. More civil cases in Guangdong involving Hong Kong residents can be expected in future. It is important that those residents should be

should be aware of their involvement in legal proceedings so as to be able to defend their interests if they wish. Moreover, if Hong Kong Courts did not assist

assist in the service of documents in Hong Kong on behalf of the Guangdong Courts, such people could unwittingly return to China to
