Thank you for your
conventions. We have not contrived to study it in detail. But
we have perceived that it includes a list of Acts which give
effect to conventions. Two of these escaped us when we were
writing on 17 March. I now enclose a revised set of the repeals
enclosed with my letter of that date. The revision consists of
inserting repeals for the Taking of Hostages Act 1982 and the
Nuclear Material (Offences) Act 1983. Once again unfortunately
the repeals make for some awkwardness in
in the grammar of what
remains. As I said before, this is just one of those things.
I am sending copies of this letter and of the amendments to
Kowalski and Erskine.
