11. Clause 8(a) replaces section 14(2) and specifies that the accounts of the Authority must be submitted by 30 September to the Director of Audit who will audit the accounts.
12. Clauses 8(b) and 9 amend sections 14 and 15 to extend by 3 months the dates by which the financial and annual reports of the Authority must be tabled in the Legislative Council.
13. Clause 12 which comes into operation on 1 April 1988 amends the First Schedule to the Public Finance Ordinance to delete the Home Ownership Fund, and cancels the resolutions relating to the fund.
14. Although some public service staff will be re-assigned, there will be no significant variation in the number of staff employed.
15. Aside from the transfer of the assets and liabilities in the Home Ownership Fund under clause 4, the Bill has no other public expenditure implications.
