Dear Mr. Kenny,
In response to your letter of 29th August 1988
I can now advise you of the following details of the RTHK HF service in Vietnamese which we propose to commence from October 1st 1988:
a) Frequency: 7290 kHz
b) Transmitter Power: 30 KW PEP
c) Aerial Type: Horizontal Log Periodic
d) Aerial Gain: 9 dbi
e) Azimuth of Maximum Radiation: 226 degrees
f) Beam Width: 60 degrees
Transmission times will be:
i) 06.00 to 08.00 Hanoi Local Time
(23.00 to 01.00 GMT)
ii) 18.00 to 20.00 Hanoi Local Time
(11.00 to 13.00 GMT)
