The Commissioner of Police, Mr R.H. ANNING attended
before the Council to report on the current situation. The
Council congratulated the Narcotics Bureau on the success of
its recent operations. These reflected the very successful
cooperation which the Bureau has built up with the American
and Chinese authorities.

adjustment equivalent to the
1987-88 pay trend indicators,
