This Ordinance amends the Betting Duty Ordinance to simplify the determination of the amount to be paid by the Hong Kong Lotteries Board to the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club for operating the Mark Six Lottery. The new fixed percentage arrangement is given retrospective effect from 1 July 1986.
2. Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
