PUBLIC HEALTH AND MUNICIPAL SERVICES (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 1988
(No. 53 of 1988)
This Ordinance amends the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance to apply licensing controls, formerly applicable to public billiard saloons, to billiard
establishments.

A billiard establishment is defined as any place opened, kept or used for the purpose of playing billiards, snooker, pool or similar games, so that such controls are not restricted to establishments having a public character. Private homes are exempted from licensing and provision is made for exemption by regulation of any particular class or description of billiard establishment.
3.
Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
