Reports have been received concerning the ill-treatment of male vietnamese refugees in the Hel Ling Chau detention Centre on 19 July 1988.
It has been reported that they have been subjected to cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment.
According to information they were subsequently all transferred to Lai Chi Kok prison in Knowloon, where they were again reported to have been ill-treated before being confined three to a cell.
