Dear Mr. Bracklo,
As you may know, the Governor during his recent visit in Europe raised with Dr. Sudhoff, State Secretary in the German Foreign Ministry, the question of the resettlement of 57 Vietnamese refugees in Hong Kong with close family links in Germany. Dr. Sudhoff replied that he was prepared to accept these refugees in Germany, and also asked for further details.
I therefore enclose a list of these refugees with the addresses of their relatives in Germany for your consideration.
