Reality has proven that :
* Where the communist dominates, people will escape to look for
equality and freedom.
* The Indochinese refugees rode on fishing boats to the Ocean
to find the promised land and a democratic and free country.
* From 1/3 to 1/2 of the Indochinese refugees had been drowned
and on the high sea, because of sinking boats, high waves, pirates, but the exodus continued.
The refugees dicided that, it is better to die on the way to freedom than to live in an inhuman communist regime, where people have not been defined as a human body but as a tool to be used by the government.
* The democratic and free causes were lit up by a dim light on
many refugee boats on the high sea.
* Due to their humanity and in order to protect democracy and
freedom, many countries had permitted Indochinese refugees to take refuge on their land.
Dear Sirs,
We, the Vietnamese refugee community, who had the fortune to settle in your country, solemnly petition :
the Due to your humanity and in order to protect Democracy and Freedom of the world against the expansion of inhuman communism, please, dear sirs, stop any action if it has already existed or stop any intention to expel and repa- -triate back to the Hanoi's government, our 45,000 refugees, who were living in many refugee camps in South East Asian
