Vietnamese Boat People
On 13 December the Presidency reported in reply to a question to the European Parliament that the Twelve have called on Vietnam to take urgently realistic and effective steps to solve the boat people problem and to pay regard to the right of boat people, in particular those who do not meet refugee criteria, to return to their country without fear or danger.
