A second session, will consist of two parts: the first, an

individual interview with a UNHCR official, will focus on the

details of re-integration, while the second will be a cursory

medical examination. During the interview with UNHCR official,

the form described above will be reviewed for accuracy. it

shall be the responsibility of the UNHCR to contact the

appropriate authority in the country of origin within 14 days

of this session to prepare for the individual's return.

aforementioned form will accompany notification. During this

session, the interviewer will offer assistance in apprising the

family still in Vietnam of the individual's imminent return. A

standard letter, to be forwarded by UNHCR, will be devised for

use throughout the region.

The final session will consist of an orientation to air travel,

further information regarding settling-in, access to UNHCR in

the country of origin, and distribution of medical records

(available if an individual has been treated subsequently to

arrival in camp).

Transit centers shall be established at ports of entry for the purpose

of receiving Vietnamese returning under the repatriation program. It is

aportant to separate and accommodate them in separate facilities It is here

that UNHCR will arrange for transportation and distribute assistance under

the re-integration program. Returners are expected to remain no longer than

2 hours in on ainmeat monsit center.
