Further to our telephone conversation on Monday 27th March, lendose a copy of the report on Vietnamese Refugees
in Hong Kong's closed camps.
Attention has recently been focused on this woue by the Comments of Sir David Wilson and the likelihood of the Princess Royal 's visit to Tuen Mun in September.

The problem is very complex and opinions naturally differ. Many believe that Britain has not done enough to support the Hong Kong government's commitment to granting asylor to all the Vietnamese arriving in the colony.
As a teacher with two years involvement in Chi Ma Wan closed centre working independently of any government or welfare
I have been party to most streams of opinion, not least to that of the refugees.
