SOCIAL WORK TRAINING FUND (AMENDMENT)

This Ordinance amends sections 5 and 10 of the Social Work Training Fund Ordinance.
2. Section 2 amends section 5 of the principal Ordinance to remove the Director of Medical and Health Services from the membership of the Social Work Training Fund. (Because Medical Social Workers are now employed in the Social Welfare Department, there is no longer any need for the Medical and Health Department to be represented.) The quorum of the Committee is also reduced from 4 to 3.

Section 3 amends section 10 of the principal Ordinance to change the time schedule for tabling annual reports and statements of account of the Fund in the Legislative Council.
4. References to "the Colony" have also been changed to "Hong Kong".

Before the Deputy to the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
