SECURITIES (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 1988

The purpose of this Ordinance is to amend section 19 of the Securities Ordinance to empower the Commissioner for Securities to disclose information obtained under the principal Ordinance to, in particular, law enforcement agencies in Hong Kong and overseas regulatory authorities concerned with the securities markets.
Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
