The Secretary of State's instructions are accordingly requested.

The Bill is intended to give effect in Hong Kong to a merger in Germany of Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Deutsche Bank (Asia) Aktiengesellschaft. It is modelled closely on the Lloyds Bank (Merger) Ordinance to which, in its final form as a Bill, you had no objections (see FCO 0813452 Jul 85).
