There is one slight change we would like to see made to the contingency briefing. It concerns the final sentence of para 4(a). We would suggest amending this to: "The specific details of the application of the MIGA Convention to Hong Kong after 1997 will be the subject of discussion between the UK and the PRC in due course". We are otherwise content with the sections relating to Hong Kong.
