Action taken by the HKFE
The Exchange welcomes such a suggestion and will be more than willing to cooperate in such a review. At this stage the review has not commenced in view of all three parties' concern with the introduction of the new proposals in the first instance.
The Exchange has the power to introduce such limits pursuant to Rule 710. It is the intention of the Exchange to use this power if and when, in the opinion of the Chief Executive,
it becomes desirable to do so.
