Now that I have returned
returned from leave (via some more briefing engagements in the United States), I thought I would drop you a line to record my appreciation and that of my HKG colleagues for the arrangements which made JLG X run so smoothly. We felt very well looked after, and I know that your staff in HKD worked long hours in order to make sure that we were given a high level of secretarial (and catering!) support.

It might seem unfair to single out anybody for special mention when I know it was a team effort, but I should like you to pass on our appreciation of the efforts of Chris Wood and Carma Elliot who managed to remain remarkably good-humoured while under pressure throughout the preparatory talks and plenary.
