I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT the document hereto annexed
contains a true and complete copy of the Joint Declaration
of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain
and Northern Ireland and the Government of the People's
Republic of China on the Question of Hong Kong (with Annexes),
signed at Beijing on 19 December 1984;
and that the document includes all reservations and
declarations made by the parties thereto.
I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT the Joint Declaration came
into force on 27 May, 1985 in accordance with the provisions
of paragraph 8 thereof.
