I am pleased to say that British exports to Hong Kong reached a record level in 1987 over £l billion. Our invisible exports to Hong Kong are also very significant indeed. These figures underline the attractions of Hong Kong as a market for British goods and services and the success of British companies in the face of stiff competition.
