As the hardware involved represents a substantial investment, any plans for total or partial replacement need to be discussed in depth. If possible I would like to give an on the spot
answer.
5. A day in our Hong Kong office where hardware is the same type as
that used in Tokyo and Seoul, but where local hardware maintenance
is much better, would be very useful. Should it be decided that hardware in Tokyo and/or Seoul is replaced, we would need to consider the affect on all three Posts. It would also provide me with a more balanced picture of IT in the region.
