1. I attach the agreed list of briefs for this visit together
with an indication of who will be responsible for drafting or
producing each item.

The format closely follows that of the Secretary of State's
visit to Hong Kong. In some (but by no means all) cases no
amendments (other than the title and date) will be needed.

of play on Tuesday 14 June. It would be helpful if drafts could
reach me if possible in the course of Friday 10 June, so that I can
pass them to Mr Hum to look at over the weekend. It is essential that this deadline should not slip: otherwise typing and finalising the briefs next week wil be an unpleasant rush.
