1. Apologies for Absence

2. Proposed dates for the 38th Parliamentary Seminar and Parliamentary Visit
The dates for the 38th Parliamentary Seminar and the Parliamentary Visit were agreed as follows:
38th Parliamentary Seminar 7th - 18th March 1989 Parliamentary Visit

3. Allocation of Seminar and Visit Places (See Appendix A)
The Committee approved the allocation of Seminar and Visit places as shown at Appendix A.
4. Estimated Cost of Seminar (See Appendix B)
The estimated cost of the Seminar as shown at Appendix B was approved.

Recording of Discussions
The Clerk of the Overseas Office said that he had had some difficulty in persuading junior Members of the Clerk's Department to summarise discussions. It was agreed that Members of the Clerk's Department should be offered £25.00 per session for summarising discussions. The Secretary- General agreed that the CPA Headquarters would edit discussion summaries and produce "The Summary of Proceedings of the 38th Parliamentary Seminar".
Seminar Programme (See Appendix D)
The outline programme of the Seminar (Draft 2) at Appendix D was approved.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 4.45 pm.
