There were more reassuring references to the visibility of British firms in Zhuhai than I had heard with respect to Shantou in December but this is the least one would expect, given the close proximity of Hong Kong. Keen interest was expressed by most of the organisations on which I called in receiving appropriate trade literature from UK and I am making arrangements for those concerned to be placed on the distribution list for BTC Hong Kong's "Britain Trades" magazine.
I enclose records of my meetings during the visit together with copies of the cards of the individuals whom I contactd. EIS notices have been issued in respect of certain business pointers and opportunities which I identified.
