In conclusion, may I say that we have not

attempted to undertake a complete and comprehensive review of the Television Ordinance, 2. We have limited
our efforts to making the amendments which are necessary
in order to issue new licences in compliance with the
terms and conditions announced in March this year. It is
my intention in due course to conduct a major review and
restructure the Ordinance to incorporate policies hot only
on off-air television, but also on radio broadcasting and
cable television in а consolidated and modernised broadcasting ordinand
