MR. CHEONG-LEEN: Sir, since there are large segments of

our population in Hong Kong who have emanated from places

such as Xiamen and Shanton and since there appear to be

growing economic

TRANSPORT: Sir, we have had an annual

meeting with the Guangdong and Shenzhen authorities

the last two years on exchange of information concerning

traffic planning and projections and these annual meetings

will continue. We think that this will be helpful to

both sides to improve our communication network.
