According to the 1986/87 Annual Report of the Medical and Health Department, the five major leading causes of death in Hong Kong, were malignant neoplasms, heart diseases, Cerebrovascular cerebral vascular diseases, pneumonia and various injuries poisoning. The most common forms of malignancies
