Sir,

Vocational training, like other educational

services for Vietnamese refugees in Hong Kong, is

provided by voluntary agencies using their own resources

assisted by funds from the United Nations High

Commission for Refugees and the Hong Kong Government.

Vocational training programmes for Vietnamese

refugees in other places of first asylum in the region

· are provided, if at all, by voluntary agencies supported

in part by UNHCR funding.
