Masters, in its report published in 1976, noted that

fringe benefits for the aided sector were different

from those in the civil service, and in this context,

made two specific recommendations:

(1)

that aided sector school teachers should be

able to take out a home purchase loan from

the Aided or Grant Schools Provident Funds;

and

(2)

that aided sector school teachers should be

covered by the School Medical Service.
