Fringe benefits of civil servants ir staff in subventud spanbuter

Will Government inform this Council whether it has conducted any study to look into the disparity between the fringe benefits of civil servants and those enjoyed by staff of subvented organizations and, if so, what are the findings; and what steps will be taken to narrow this disparity?

The subvented organisations cover a wide

spectrum of services, including education, welfare,

services, medical

trade, industry and a host of other miscellaneous

services. They offer a wide variety of terms and

conditions of employment (including fringe benefits) to

suit their particular needs. There are, therefore, bound

to be disparities both among the subvented organizations

and in comparison with the civil service.
