RESTRICTIONS ON THE PRESS: PUBLIC ORDER AMENDMENT ORDINANCE
Primarily a matter for HKG.
On 31 January HKG announced that they would review the provision at the end of this year.
Review carries out HKG's earlier commitment to monitor the situation carefully and to review it in light of experience.
The provision is in no sense a new one.
Evident to anyone who reads Hong Kong press that they have in no way been inhibited by passage of ordinance last year.
