You suggest in your letter that the survey conducted on behalf of the Survey Office was designed to suit the government's expectation. This suggestion is completely without foundation. The survey was carried out by a profesional company. Careful arrangements were made to ensure that there was no interference from the Hong Kong Government or the Survey Office in the design. of the questionnaire or the conduct of the survey.
The outcome of the current review will be published by the Hong Kong Government in a White Paper on 10 February.
