Earnings from the Group's
investment portfolio have been satisfactory for
the first half of the year and were in line with budget.
Prospects
The Group has substantial cash resources and continues to explore potential
investment opportunities. Given the current market demand, the profit
generated from property holding and development will continue to be
satisfactory. Subject to unforeseen circumstances, I expect that the
profit of the Group for the whole year will exceed that of last year.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Board of
Directors and employees of the Group for their continuing support,
dedication and hard work.
