we went in China we were treated
extremely well. It was apparent that no effort was spared to
make our visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Information was given to us readily and there was no obvious
attempt to cover anything up. It was admitted that an opium
addiction problem did exist in the Yunnan Province where it
bordered on Burma and Laos, but it was not of great
significance.
