An Ordinance to amend the Air Pollution Control Ordinance.
[22 May 1987]
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Air Pollution Control Short title.
(Amendment) Ordinance 1987.
2. Section 14 of the principal Ordinance is amended—
(a) in subsection (3)(b), by deleting “a copy" and substituting the
following-
Amendment of section 14, (Cap. 311.)
"the particulars”; and
(b) in subsection (4)—-
3.
(i) in paragraph (a), by deleting “a copy” and substituting the following-
"the particulars"; and
(ii) by deleting paragraph (b) and substituting the following- “(b) any person may, in such manner as may be prescribed, object to the granting of a licence to conduct the specified process concerned on the grounds that-
(i) it would tend to inhibit the attainment or mainten- ance of any relevant air quality objective; or
(ii) the emission of noxious or offensive emissions would be, or be likely to be, prejudicial to health.".
Section 15(3) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendment of paragraph (b) and substituting the following--
section 15.
