Any person who owns, leases or manages any hatchery in which poultry of not more than 12 days old are kept.
This printed impression has been carefully compared by me with the bill, and is found by me to be a true and correctly printed copy of
the said bill.
7.
Any person who owns or keeps in or on his premises in any livestock waste prohibition area not more than 10 poultry.
8.
Any person who owns or keeps in or on his premises in any livestock waste control area-

Note:
(a) 1 pig, including, in the case of a sow, the unweaned litter of that
sow; or
(b) not more than 10 poultry.
For the purposes of calculating the permitted number of livestock in paragraphs 7 and 8, any livestock owned or kept in or on those premises by any person's spouse, father, mother, sister, brother, son, daughter or other remoter relative or ancestor or nominee residing with that person shall be deemed to be owned or kept by that person.".
15. (1) The Public Health (Animals and Birds) (Keeping of Cattle, Swine, Sheep and Goats) Regulations are amended—
(a) in regulation 1, by deleting "Swine,";
(b) in regulation 2—
(i) in paragraph (a), by deleting "swine,”; and
(ii) in paragraph (c), by deleting "New Territories, excluding New Kowloon" and substituting the following-
"Regional Council area";
(c) in regulations 3, 4(1) and (3), 5, 6(1), 10, 11(1), 12, 13(1) and 14 by
deleting "swine," wherever it occurs;
(d) by deleting regulation 9; and
(e) in regulation 15(3), by deleting ", 8 or 9" and substituting the
following-
"or 8".
(2) Section 36(2) of the Water Pollution Control Ordinance is amended-
1987.
(a) in paragraph (a), by deleting "Pollution Control Officer" and
substituting the following
"Environmental Protection Officer"; and
(b) in paragraph (b), by deleting "Assistant Pollution Control Inspec-
tor" and substituting the following—
"Environmental Protection Assistant".
