(a) in subsection (1) by deleting "the English language or the Chinese
language" and substituting the following-
"of the official languages";
(b) in subsection (3) by deleting "the English language or the Chinese
language" and substituting the following-
“of the official languages”.
5. The Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended in the heading thereto by deleting "THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE OR THE CHINESE LANGUAGE” and substituting the following-
1987.
"OF THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGES”.

Amendment of section 3. (Cap. 1.)
Section 9 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by Repeal and the following-
