The Board of Directors of Shaw Brothers (Hong Kong) Limited announces that it
has been advised that negotiations which have been taking place between certain
major shareholders in the Company and Bond Corporation International Limited
and which might have led to an offer being made for some or all of the shares in
HK-TVB Limited owned by the Company have concluded.
Application has been made to The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited for the
resumption of trading in the Company's shares from 10 a.m. on Tuesday, 13th
January, 1987.
